Information for participants of the X International Siberian Transport Forum

Dear colleagues,

The International Siberian Transport Forum took place in Novosibirsk in the International Exhibition Complex “Novosibirsk Expo Centre” and in the Siberian Transport University on 16-19 May, 2023. It is the largest industry event in the region, the purpose of which was the interaction of government bodies, science, and the business community to solve actual problems of the transport and road-building complexes, increase the investment attractiveness of Siberia.
 Nearly 8,000 people visited the forum this year. It was also conducted in the online form for participants from other countries and cities. A personal attendance of a minimum of 1 member from each group of authors was obligatory. All necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 were taken, such as:
— Online registration for the participants and guests of the forum.
— Monitoring and tracking the number of participants and guests with an electronic counting system.
— Routing, arrangement of tables, seats and information desks to maintain 1.5m distance.
— Separate entrances and exits for the exhibition and conference rooms, equipped with barrier tapes and signs. There were 3-meter wide passages to enter and exit.
— Shortened sessions to do the airing and sanitize the surfaces of possible contact.
— No catering or classic coffee break.
— Medical masks for all participants and guests of the conference.
The key agenda of discussions was the implementation of the national project “Safe and high-quality roads” and the Comprehensive Plan for the expansion and modernization of infrastructure, including in the Siberian Federal District. Participants have discussed issues of digitization of the transport industry, infrastructure development, improving the traffic safety, and aspects of legislative regulation. A total of more than 500 reports were presented.
