Governor of the Novosibirsk Region — Andrey A. Travnikov

Dear friends!
On behalf of the Government of the Novosibirsk Region and on my own behalf, I am glad to welcome the guests and organizers of the Siberian Transport Forum. For the eighth time, Novosibirsk is hosting such a large and representative event dedicated to the development of transport in the Siberian Federal District.
The concept of the business program and the exhibition is formed on the basis of the main priorities specified in the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin “On the national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024”.
I invite representatives of business and expert community to take an active part in the IX Siberian Transport Forum. I am confident that the agreements reached and the projects presented will help strengthen intersectoral and interregional relations and will make it possible to increase the competitiveness of the transport industry of our country.

Dear participants!

On behalf of the Federal Agency of Rail Transport and on my own behalf, I welcome the participants and guests of the IX International Siberian Transport Forum and the “TransSiberia” specialized exhibition of the transport industry, transport and warehouse logistics, infrastructure projects of the road and transport complex. Traditionally, for the eighth time, we are gathering at this hospitable forum to discuss such topical issues of railway transport development as digitalization, acceleration and growth in container traffic, modernization of the Baikal-Amur Mainline, the Trans-Siberian Railway. The main objective of the Forum is to summarize the experience and develop practical recommendations aimed at improving the functioning of the entire railway complex. I am confident that the discussions and meetings held within the Forum will contribute to the confidential dialogue of all parties concerned, will allow finding new approaches to solving the existing problems of the development of railway transport in Russia, promoting the development of the economy of the Siberian regions, strengthening international and interregional relations. I wish the participants of the IX International Siberian Transport Forum and the “TransSiberia” specialized exhibition of the transport industry, transport and warehousing logistics, infrastructure projects of the road and transport complex effective work and the achievement of their goals!

The Transport Forum provides an excellent opportunity for a broad discussion and the formation of a consolidated position of the professional community, representatives of business and government on the most pressing issues of the transport industry development.
I am confident that during the Forum, optimal solutions for the Russian citizens will be found for the most important problems of the industry, and the exhibition will help promote the most efficient and modern domestic technologies.
