Participation in standard mode is expected in 2023. All preventive measures to protect against the spread of coronavirus infection will be taken.

In 2020, due to the quarantine, about 400 participants attended the conference in person. Foreign participants were given the opportunity to hold a teleconference.

The Siberian Transport Forum — TransSiberia is the largest annual scientific and practical event for the Russian transport industry. The Siberian Transport Forum is traditionally held with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the State Duma of the Russian Federation. Every year, it gathers at least 7,000 people — participants from all constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as from near and far abroad countries. In 2019 year, during three days, 7420 people visited the exhibitions and events of the business and scientific program of the forum. Delegations from 24 Russian regions and nine foreign countries took part in the work of the sections. Within the forum, numerous plenary sessions, sessions of a scientific conference, round tables devoted to the functioning and development of all types of transport, road construction, transport and logistics complexes were held. Traditionally, the emphasis was on strategic planning for the development of the transport complex in Russia and increasing the economic feasibility of large infrastructure projects in the Siberian Federal District. During the discussion of the state of the transport industry in Russia, strategic decisions on its development were made. Due to the participation of prominent foreign scientists, there has been an exchange of international experience on these and many other issues. The event was attended by Presidential Envoy of the Siberian Federal District Sergey Menyaylo, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Alexander Yurchik, Head of the Novosibirsk Region Andrey Travnikov, and Head of the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies Anatoly Chubais.
